Can Someone Tell Me How To View The Current Walmart Canada Flyer On The Internet?
I Heard That Wal-Mart Canada Was Matching Prices With The US On Video Games And Other Electronics! I Know Where To View The Flyers, But They Do Not Show The One You Have In The Stores. Or If Any Of You Can Post And List Me What Games Were Changed In Price At Wal-Mart (Only Nintendo Games), That Would Be Very Good!

Why are Walmart Canada's prices at least double or triple (or sometimes 4-10x more) than those of Wa
I was walking through a Canadian Walmart today and the price of everything (from socks, shoes, and ties to shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes) was at the very least double or triple the price at a Walmart in the US (assuming an exchange rate of 1.25 - the exchange rate right now is 1.06; it was around 1.50 few years ago). What gives? I was planning to buy some basic necessities but I actually walked out empty-handed after spending an entire hour in the store. I saw some people shopping, but they seemed like poor people to me. I couldn't help but feel sorry that they were paying 2-10x for everything they were buying. Do Canadians actually shop at Walmarts in Canada? If so, are they stupid? Even when comparing two nearby cities, Seattle and Vancouver, the difference in price is striking - especially if you consider that the two cities are less than 4 hours apart! If you take taxes and salaries into account, then the prices are at the very least 3-12x as much as a Walmart in the US. It's almost insanely ridiculous. Now I understand why Vancouverites drive across the border once a month to shop for stuff... Anyway: my point was that if someone pays $100 at a Walmart USA, that same someone will probably pay about $500 for the exact same items at a Walmart Canada (averaging the range from $300 - $1200 and giving weight to the $300 side; the estimate is still grossly on the low side). If you're poor and you're shopping at Walmart Canada, then you're not saving a few bucks. Canadians are actually paying an average of five times what Americans pay. For cities like Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, that simply doesn't make sense since they're pretty close to the border. To BangkokBob, these aren't accusations: they are facts.

How many times are you going to ask this question? Yes it's more expensive, probably because of (1) shipping fees wal-mart has to pay, (2) the cost of doing business in another country and (3) they found out they can get away with it so they're gonna keep doing it as long as they can. That's business!
