Where is the best place to buy foriegn currency?
I have been checking using online x rates currency converter from Aus - Nz dollar and it says 1.15, but everywhere is only offering 1.10 max? can somebody please HELP ME!

Depending on the amount of currency you want to exhange, you may be screwed. The rates reported are generally for very large transactions. I have found that credit card companies (Amex in particular) offer the best exchange rates when you buy items in foreign countries. If you need the physical currency, go to a bank that is domiciled in the country you want to get the currency, i.e.go to deutsche bank if you live in NYCfor euro's and try exchanging it there.

I am working on an analog converter for audio that utilizes magnetic regeneration. Does anyone else
I think that a very cool way to explore the phenomena associated with the properties of magnetic fields is to utilize a gel that can be 'impregnated' by the same techniques that magnetic tape utilizes. Think about it, picture it, and then if you have any ideas about such a feat, let me know. These are ideas that came to me about 8-10 years ago when digital was basically leaving analog in the dust. I'm a musician and I know from an artistic standpoint, in anything, that there is a huge sacrifice going on with the world of digital. If you don't see it you are obviously not aware of how absolutely amazing the wonders of electronics can be. Has been. While I preeched at my younger brother about sine waves he used to say things like, " Man, you don't see where it's headed do you?. When the sampling rate gets to X point, you wan't be able to hear any difference..." Oh brother, how wrong you are! Digital has no phenomenas. I loved my first Marshall amp melting down..THAT'S ANALOG

Sorry, but you're about 80 years too late. Magnetic regeneration is an old technique, in use since the early days of radio.

UK Tvs working in the USA?
    The Tv I have has the following information: • Aerial input: 75 ohm coaxial (IEC75) • TV system: DVB COFDM 2K/8K, PAL, SECAM • Video playback: NTSC, SECAM, PAL • DVB: DVB Terrestrial * • Tuner bands: Hyper band, S channel, UHF, VHF Computer formats Resolution Refresh rate 640 x 480 60Hz 800 x 600 60Hz 1024 x 768 60Hz • Video formats Resolution Refresh rate 640 x 480i 1Fh 640 x 480p 2Fh 720 x 576i 1Fh 720 x 576p 2Fh 1280 x 720p 3Fh 1920 x 1080i 2Fh Will I be able to set up a Satellite system in the USA and be able to receive a picture and sound? And would I need a converter for the to change the connection in the USA to work with a scart socket.

I hate to tell you, but your pal/secam tv will not operate in the US, as we use the NTSC system. You also have a difference in the power supply components. I recommend selling your existing set in the UK, and purchasing one in the US.
